BIO
Georgios Othonas is a graduate with an integrated master of postgraduate level in the Direction of New Media in the Visual Arts of School of Fine Arts in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (auth) and now he is a student in the Master’s program in Visual Arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts (asfa).
His main expression are both analog and digital photography as well as Video Art and his interest in the visual arts began to be expressed already in his student years, through the Art of Graffiti. He experiment and establishes his way of expression and develops with other media such as analog and digital photography, with methods of printing in a darkroom and developing black and white film. Additionally, he worked with video, 3D imaging software, as well as Augmented Reality (AR) tools and technologies.
He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Auth) in November 2023. In his professional career, he has been working since February 2024 until june 2025 as a professor of graphic design and photography at the Omiros Vocational College of Thessaloniki, teaching the following courses: digital image processing, video editing, interdisciplinary work, three-dimensional graphics (3D), electronic page editing, website design and development.
Currently is a master’s degree student (mfa) in visual arts at Athens school of fine arts (ASFA) since october 2025. Also, he is doing an 4 month internship at National Opera of Greece (GNO) through the stavros niarchos foundation (SNF) as a photographer.
