The landscape is a way of seeing, carving out its own history; it is not a simple object. Time passes differently in each person's life, especially when it is perceived solely as a measure and not as an experience.
Human presence often appears formulaic, repetitive, as if humans are struggling to maintain a sense of the flow of time. This obsession often leads to existential anxiety, to the reproduction of "empty" images or, conversely, to moments of meaningful density.
Social groups, in every geographical condition on the planet, struggle for continuity, immortality, fearing that time will alter, forget, or trample them. What does it mean to be absent from the world while it continues without you?
The landscape, ultimately, is a balcony full of memories, expectations, and possibilities. It is simultaneously a view and a memory, absence and presence.
