The work «Voices» results from a process of research and observation of an abandoned space, through gradual penetration into its own rhythm and silences. The space is not treated as empty, it carries traces, memories and an already formed field of experience.

The INSTALLATION does not function as a simple addition, but as a rearrangement of this field. If a new element is introduced into an already formed space, the way in which what can be seen, heard and recognized is organized changes. Through this displacement, the very condition of perception is rearranged and, by extension, the meaning of the space. In other words, what was on the margin acquires visibility and voice, while abandonment ceases to mean absence. What remained on the margin acquires visibility, and silence is transformed into active presence.

In “Voices,” space is reactivated. Silence is not negated, but transformed into a place of listening, where meaning does not pre-exist but is produced through the encounter of work and place.
